The judges of the Discovery Health Journalism Awards have announced the finalists in the various categories of the third annual awards dedicated to health reporting. The judging panel received over 180 entries from a cross-section of South African media.
Each category winner will receive R25 000. The overall winner, the Discovery Health Journalist of the Year, will walk away with a total prize of R75 000. Winners will be announced on May 5.
