By now the AMF Mystery Masters Golf Day probably seems like a distant memory. But the real work, to bring the vision of the day to fruition, is now in full swing. With funds raised as a result of the golf day, the AMF is now in a position to begin the process of identifying rising stars in the media industry and provide them training and further education in a variety of disciplines.
Of course, we need your help to achieve this.
You are invited to submit the name (or names) of anyone in your company who you believe will be able to make a significant and positive contribution to the media industry in the years ahead.
We are looking for people who are committed to, and show promise in, the media sphere, either in strategy, planning or buying.
Our aim is to equip these people with skills they are not likely to acquire in the normal course of their functions.
These could include subjects such as business skills, HR management, financial management, presentation skills, or any other area of learning that would be of most benefit to the candidate.
Each nomination will need to be accompanied by a sponsor’s motivation, the sponsor being the agency head or the nominee’s immediate superior, the nominee’s full CV, a motivation letter from the nominee explaining why they deserve to be selected, and their short, medium and long-term goals in the media industry.
From these applications a panel of media industry heavyweights will select the eight successful candidates.
Please send your nominations to:

Before 8 July 2011 so we can get the ball rolling as soon as possible.
