Brad Reilly, chief creative officer of Jupiter Drawing Room (Johannesburg), has arrived in Cannes for the 59th International Festival of Creativity. He will be blogging from there, and TheMediaOnline will be posting those musings as and when they arrive in our inbox.
Day 1. Dimanche. Sunday is always a quiet day in the seaside village. It’s a bit like the moment when the ocean recedes and all is still before a tsunami hits. I have no doubt the tsunami is coming. Good looking, cool people are pouring in with way sexier accents than mine, and I’m certain they will grace the dance floors of the throbbing parties and bursting bars along the croisette, but the real impact (I’m hoping) will be felt by a tidal wave of great, wish-I-had-done-it work. So, I’ve registered and I guess I’m ready.
