WAYN.com, the world’s largest travel and lifestyle social network, has officially added 10 million registered users in the last five years, reaching the 20 million-user mark. Since 2005 users have grown from one million to over 20 million today.
“It is sensational to see our membership grow. Over the years WAYN has evolved into a multi-layered, highly social and engaging platform for travellers, we have focused on capturing what users want to do and where they want to go, and empowering them to connect with those who share their interests,” says co-founder and co-CEO of WAYN.com, Jerome Touze.
WAYN averages 7-8 million unique monthly users and serves around 200 million page views a month. The increase in membership is testament to the fact the platform is increasingly popular across the globe and is rapidly growing in emerging markets such as India, where they currently have over three million visitors each month.
WAYN’s significant scale has attracted very large organisations in the last few years including the likes of South Africa Tourism, Booking.com, ebookers, Expedia, Indonesia Tourism and Airbnb, to name but a few.
