Client agency relationship experts The Independent Agency Search & Selection Company (IAS) will be hosting its popular series of Masterclass programmes this year. The purpose behind these classes, which are free to IAS subscribers, is to provide agencies with cutting edge information and training on industry related topics within the advertising and marketing industry.
“Over the past two years the Masterclass programme has continued to grow from strength to strength. We think that the programme has enabled our subscribers to keep abreast of key issues in the environments in which they operate.” says Johanna McDowell, managing director of the IAS.
“This year we are looking at partnering with local and international industry players and opinion leaders in order to continue to provide our subscribers with expert information, opportunities and trends,” says McDowell.
The first Masterclass took place on 18 February 2013 and investigated the subject of Government tenders and Procurement.
The second Masterclass will take place in March 2013 and the topic will is “Phase 2 B-BEE Codes – Implications for agencies.”
The third Masterclass will take place in May 2013 and the topic will be Building a great agency: Client Relationships and Creative Appreciation.
The fourth Masterclass will take place in June 2013 and the topic will be Agencies are from Mars, Clients are from Venus – client slave or client darling.
The fifth Masterclass will take place in August 2013 and the topic will be How to market your agency.
The sixth Masterclass will take place in September 2013 and the topic will be Networking and Networking skills.
The seventh Masterclass will take place in October 2013 and the topic will be Pitching tips from Madison Avenue.
The last Masterclass for the year will take place in November 2013 and the topic Great Communicators – Presenting tips and presentation skills.
