    Interesting idea, but then why use this medium to distribute the piece rather than a personal or business blog? With fragmentation levels as they are consumers still go to trusted brands and channels (whether online or not) to find what they are looking for.

    Good point. We do publish our original content on our own platforms first (http://twistedtoast.com/willful-blindness-in-media-and-advertising). But to reach a wider audience through a trusted other medium a while later doesn’t hurt. It’s prevalent in our digital, connected world that articles and posts are shared. Exclusivity is, let’s say, less exclusive today. After all, information wants to be free.

    But then again, perhaps it’s just ego at play 😉
