MTN and SuperSport have announced a deal that will see the mobile telecommunications company becoming thesponsor of the weekly SuperSport sports talk show, Thursday Night Live (TNL) with Robert Marawa.
Newly appointed chief marketing officer at MTN SA, Brian Gouldie, appeared on the popular show to cement the relationship with the anchor of the show Robert Marawa. “MTN is proud to be associated with the Thursday Night Live with Robert Marawa show. As a brand rooted in South Africa, with other operations in Africa, including a vision to bring a new bold digital world to our customers, this union was imminent due to the show’s strong digital influence,” said Gouldie after the show.

MTN’s involvement is envisaged to focus on consumer engagement, specifically looking at compounding the activities currently on offer on the TNL show.
