Michael Bratt joins Wag the Dog Publishers as a multimedia journalist and producer. He will be working across all the platforms that the company offers.
“Michael’s experience and work ethic, plus his love for words, makes him a great fit for our business. He will be working across The Media, The Media Online and producing videos for TMOLive. Not only will his talents enhance our content he will also work with our sales team to offer advertising packages across these platforms,” says Sandra Gordon, publisher at Wag the Dog Publishers.
His position is that of a skilled and organised content creator who moves seamlessly from one style of content creation and maintenance to another – researching, data mining, writing, producing, and promoting. Bratt will also bring his expertise to the company’s social media strategy. He will also work on EasyDIY, Demystify, and the MOST Awards.
Bratt’s diverse background in radio, newspaper, magazine, online, television and social media will allow him to add his knowledge and strategies from different types of media as well as across different genres of media. His youthful outlook will also add another dimension with different ideas to the company.
Bratt graduated from Rhodes University with a Bachelors of Journalism Degree, specialising in radio. He was part of the 2010 Avusa Internship Programme before joining I-Net Bridge as a multimedia producer in his first permanent position. Spells followed at Business Day in the same role and then CNBC Africa as a content producer working on their Open Exchange, Power Lunch and Closing Bell shows.
