Desmond Thompson has 12 years’ experience in the media – as Nairobi Bureau Chief of Media24 Newspapers, Managing Editor of Adam and Drum East Africa (Kenyan magazines), Senior Reporter with Beeld and Senior Researcher with Carte Blanche, and as a sub-editor with Sunday Sun and ThisDay. He is currently employed as Writer/Researcher in the Communication and Liaison Department of Stellenbosch University, where he is also doing his MPhil Journalism.
