Currently a Director of Studies (EMBA) and Teaching Fellow in Marketing, Donald Lancaster joined the University recently after an established international advertising career. He has worked in ad agencies big and small, starting in London and expanding to Scotland, then the Middle East, the Far East, and Asia Pacific, back to Germany and finally London again. His clients have included many famous brands including Mars, Unilever, P&G, HSBC, Citi, Beefeater Gin, Stella Artois, Mazda, Toyota and even Aston Martin. He has led agencies for WPP (JWT, Ogilvy) and IPG (Lowe, Lintas) among others and has championed marketing strategy and multi-channel communications, content creation, and evaluation across sectors, cultures and borders. His interests and experience in the field led to guest-lecturing, then doctoral research and now a full-time commitment to enthusing tomorrow’s marketeers.
