Gasant Abarder

Gasant Abarder is editor of the Cape Times, the newspaper on which he started his career in journalism. He was the youngest editor ever of the Cape Argus, being appointed editor at 31, the youngest in the paper’s 156-year history. He was also a member of the team that launched the Daily Voice, eventually becoming its deputy editor. From there he moved to the Cape Argus, then as news editor of EWN, before returning to Independent Media as editor of the Cape Times.
