Haley Abrahams is a full-time independent proofreader, editor and writer, working primarily in the corporate and academic sectors. She has a particular interest in corporate social responsibility and integrated reporting, but her experience spans an extensive range of sectors and subjects. Her work ranges from annual reports, corporate copy and academic editing to internal publications and consumer magazines – and anything else involving words. Haley has been freelancing for more than a decade, after a corporate career in public affairs, media relations and marketing communications in the financial services industry in South Africa, and copyrights and journals marketing for a large academic press in the UK.

Haley Abrahams holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and international politics, and BA (Honours) in African studies (political economy, feminist studies, trade unions and electoral systems), both from Rhodes University.
