The winners of The 2012 Davey Awards have been announced in New York by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, with Prezence Digital, a leading South African digital agency being awarded no less than five silver Daveys.
The 8th annual Davey Awards attracted more than 4000 entries from across the globe. Judged and overseen by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), the Daveys are an international creative award focused exclusively on honouring outstanding creative work from the best small firms worldwide.
Prezence Digital won silver for its acclaimed Ster-Kinekor iPhone app, in the Mobile Applications – Entertainment category.Already having taken silver a month ago at the global Mobile Marketing Association’s Smarties Awards in New York, the highly successful #MandelaStory campaign, again swept the boards taking silver across four categories of the Daveys, namely:
· Mobile Marketing – Charitable Organisations / Non-Profit
· Online Film and Video – Public Service and Activism
· Online Advertising and Marketing – Viral Marketing
· Online Advertising and Marketing Social Media
