TGI SA will develop a new range of products and services to augment its established single source database, in collaboration with Ask Afrika’s large team of marketing researchers and statisticians.

align=justifyTim Bester and Barbara Cook, founders of TGI, will maintain a minority interest in the company, while Ask Africa will hold 70% of the company.

align=justifyBester says Ask Africa was chosen as a partner because the company comprises very keen, talented, young people. “Their field work methodology is very complimentary to what we do.”

align=justifyAsk Africa founder, Andrea Rademeyer, says: “Having TGI as a part of our proven research methods gives Ask Afrika a gateway to global clients and the support of the KMR Group, the world’s largest research company”.

align=justifyAs directors of the new company, Bester and Cook say that a lot of the grit work will be handled by Ask Africa. “This will allow Barbara and I to become more client focused instead of operational orientated,” Bester says.
