MallWorx from Southgate to Soweto

Mallworx, Unlimited’s mall advertising company specialising in the middle market, has been awarded the interior advertising rights at Southgate Shopping centre as from May 1 for a period of three years.

Southgate, which remains the gateway to Soweto, is seen as a pioneering centre because it was the first regional centre to meet the needs of its rapidly changing market.

“Soweto is a test market for the whole country, and Southgate is perfectly positioned to capture this. We look forward to bringing our advertiser’s campaigns into Southgate and making a difference to their bottom lines,” says Althaaf Cassim of MallWorx.

The mall boasts a foot-count of 1.5 million people per month and its anchor tenants include Shoprite, Pick n Pay, Edgars, Woolworths and Game.  All of the major South African banks including Capitec and African Bank are represented as well as all four major mobile service providers.
