eNuus’s Genée Heyl has received a prized ATKV Media Veertjie in the category Best Television News Anchor. “It is an honour and a compliment to be considered best Afrikaans news anchor on television, considering the presence of veteran anchors Freek Robinson and Riaan Cruywagen on the screen,” says Heyl.
The awards were dished out in Midrand on Friday, 20 April 2012. The ATKV annually honours the cream of contributions in the Afrikaans print and electronic media, as well as radio and television.
