Briefly…marcusbrewster wins Financial PR Firm of the Year
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Corporate and commercial PR agency marcusbrewster has been named South African Financial PR Firm of the Year in the International Mergers & Acquisitions Awards (M&A). The winners were announced this month by Acquisition International magazine.

Nominated in the Financial Advisory category, marcusbrewster was one of 15 South African firms honoured including Pricewaterhouse Coopers (SA Financial Due Diligence Provider), Maitland (SA Fund Administrator of the Year) and Bernardt Vukic Potash & Getz (SA Boutique Law Firm of the Year). Adams & Adams was a double winner, earning its stripes as SA Intellectual Property Firm of the Year and SA Franchise Law Firm of the Year.

“So much of our best work happens unheralded and behind the scenes. Due to the confidential nature of the assignments, we never get to share case study best practice with the industry, or even enter the work for award ceremonies. It is thus very satisfying and gratifying to get the M&A Award for SA Financial PR Firm of the Year, as the shortlisting evolves through peer nomination and the award is given on merit,” says company founder and chairman, Marcus Brewster.

Acquisition International is published by AI Global Media Ltd in the UK as a key tool for CEOs researching the market to build the right deal team to help with the acquisition process and prepare their company for sale.  The title is studied by private equity companies, debt providers, professional services companies, lawyers and accountants.
