SABC launches Olympic Games packages

CYBERTORIAL: The countdown to the 2012 Olympic Games has begun. Which means it is open season on advertising and sponsorship packages available to advertisers over the period. The SABC will be screening live Olympic broadcasts daily on SABC 2 from 11.50am to 4pm. These broadcasts will feature whatever sport is taking place in that time.

The broadcaster will also screen all soccer games, with local heroines Banyana Banyana’s games being shown live.

There will be a daily Good Evening London slot, which will be a talk format wrap of the day’s events.

SABC 2 will also host an Overnite Highlights package, taking place every night from 1am to 5am that will give viewers who missed the day’s action a chance to catch up on all that they missed.

SABC 1 is screening both soccer and basketball games, while SABC 3 takes on the tennis.

There are also packages for the Paralympics.

Note: Cybertorial is paid-for content.
