CYBERTORIAL: Come 19 January 2013 and SABC1 will become the ‘Home of Soccer’ once more as we take our viewers on a fun-filled soccer journey. They will be able to watch all the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) matches on our channels.
But of course, that means there will be major changes affecting the shows scheduled to air in the 16h30 to 24h00 time-slots.
These changes are to make sure that our soccer fans have uninterrupted programming throughout the tournament. The objective is to allow all our viewers to be able to watch their favourite shows during this epic event.
The shows that will be affected by this exciting process include The Bold & the Beautiful, SABC News, Generations, Zone 14, RGB and Friends like These.
The good news is that we are happy to announce that our sister channel, SABC2, will bring you your favourite shows in the same time slots
28 matches will be broadcast on SABC1.
