The South African Audience Research Foundation (Saarf) is inviting everyone who would like to attend the Census 2011 – A Look at Census and Amps Trends presentation on 15 August 2013 at the Bryanston Country Club.  The presentation will start promptly at 14:30 and will last approximately an hour.

Top line data from the 2011 census, was released earlier this year. Peter Langschmidt will present the top trends in terms of population and shifts within provinces and cities. Declining household sizes and the massive growth this has meant for the number of formal households, will also be presented.

He will also show income, age and other changing demographics between the 2001 and 2011 censuses. Against this backdrop he will show how Amps figures mirror these changes in society, but add another dimension to the understanding of consumer shifts by including products, brands, activities and media.

The presentation will be made available on the Saarf website. Attendance is free of charge. Click here to register via the website.
