As a student, winning a Loerie is a sure way to get a headstart in a competitive industry, and this year’s judging panel will be assessing the best work from educational institutions based within Africa and the Middle East.

Student entries and judged by a panel of professionals from across the industry, in categories including Film, Video & Motion Graphic Design, Radio Commercials, Print, Outdoor & Collateral Media, Communication Design, Digital & Interactive Communication, Integrated Campaign and Print & Design Crafts.

South Africa’s top creative students will also have an opportunity to showcase their work to the industry during the Student Portfolio Day at the Cape Town City Hall on Saturday September 21, as part of Creative Week Cape Town.

Students as well as those with established creative careers will be making the most of the inspiration on offer between September 14 and 22. Creative Week Cape Town is an annual creative hub for over 4000 members of the brand communication industry. Loeries® Creative Week™ Cape Town culminates in two awards evenings on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September, followed by the Channel O Party at the Shimmy Beach Club.
