Primedia Unlimited’s Mall Active has given viewers and mall consumers a taste of what’s in store when Strictly Come Dancing UK airs on BBC Entertainment. With popular radio and TV presenter Sam Cowen acting as MC, international dancing sensations Robin Windsor and Kristina Rihanhoff thrilled consumers at Sandton City during Mall Active’s activation to announce the launch of Series 11, Strictly Come Dancing UK on BBC Entertainment, channel 120 on DStv.

“Although it was only a one day event, it was an event with a capital ‘E’,” says Mall Active’s Travis Brown. “Sandton City provided the perfect backdrop for the two international dancing stars that captivated the crowds with their Rumba and Salsa.”

While TLC’s GlamCam was there to provide consumers with a picture memento of the day, Robin and Kristina gave and signed autographs to a delighted audience. The pair are professional dance partners on the series. Robin is paired with Debora Mead (Dragons Den) and Kristina with Ben Cohen (former England rugby player).  The series offers dancing at its very best with some unexpected surprises.

“It was certainly an event to remember. Activations themselves capture the mall consumer’s imagination and provides unique opportunities for that one-on-one engagement with an actively interested person while working within any client budget,” says Brown.
