CYBERTORIAL: The two sister stations, Radio Pulpit 657AM and Cape Pulpit 729AM are strategic partners in Christian media and form part of the new Pulpit Media Group (Kansel Mediagroep). This Group was established in May 2014 with the aim to ensure optimal synergy, joint co-operation and cost-effective operations for the organisations and ministries, forming part of the Group.
Pulpit Media Group (PMG) strategically mobilises four organisations with similar objectives behind one vision: To restore Christian values and bring the presence of God to every house in SA (and beyond) via Christian media,” Dr Roelf Petersen, Group Managing Director, said at the PMG office in Kilner Park, Pretoria.
The four founding members of PMG are:
- Radio Pulpit 657AM – www.radiopulpit.co.za;
- Cape Pulpit 729AM – www.capepulpit.co.za;
- United Christian Broadcasters Africa (UCB Africa) – www.ucbafrica.co.za ; and
- Christian Network Media (CNW Media) – www.cnwmedia.co.za
During PMG’s first Directors’ meeting in early May, Dr Lawrence McCrystal was appointed as Chairperson of the PMG Board. Dr Roelf Petersen was appointed as Group Managing Director at the same meeting. Dr Mc Crystal will continue to serve as Chairperson of Radio Pulpit and Cape Pulpit and Dr Petersen will serve on both these Boards.
