Music fans can tune in for the 58th Annual Grammy Awards, broadcast live from Staples Centre in Los Angeles, on Tuesday, 16 February, exclusive to Channel O (DStv channel 320).
This year, Kendrick Lamar leads nominations with 11, followed by Taylor Swift and The Weeknd, who each have seven. Additionally, music producer/songwriter Max Martin receives six nominations, and mastering engineer Tom Coyne, rapper Drake, and engineers/mixers Serban Ghenea and John Hanes each bagged five nominations.
“The Grammys are without a doubt music’s biggest night of the year, and Channel O is known for consistently being at the forefront of music entertainment, so it’s a perfect match – one which our viewers will relish and certainly stay up late to tune in for,” said Channel O’s head of planning and scheduling, Tracy-Ann van Rooyen.
Tune in for the live broadcast next Tuesday at 3AM, with the repeat at 7PM on the same day. HD repeats will be broadcast on VUZU AMP (DStv channel 114) on Saturday, 20 February at 3PM, and on Sunday, 21 February at 9PM.
