Dr Emily Rowe received her BA in English literature from Aberystwyth University in 2015, her MA in Renaissance Literature from the University of York in 2017, and her PhD from Newcastle University in 2022. She has previously taught at Newcastle University and lectured at the University of Manchester, before joining King's College London as a lecturer in September 2022.
At King's, Emily Rowe teaches on topics ranging from seventeenth-century poetry to contemporary adaptations of Shakespeare. Her own research focuses on histories of metalworking, militarism, and material culture in early modern literature, but she also writes on the interplay between Shakespeare and pop culture, gaming, and religion.
