Stuart Richards teaches at the University of Melbourne in the School of Culture and Communication. His first monograph The Queer Film Festival: Politics and Popcorn is published by Palgrave Macmillan. He has previously worked with both the Melbourne Queer Film Festival and The San Francisco Frameline International LGBTQ Film Festival. He is currently secretary for Senses of Cinema.
