Changing lanes with ComutaNet
Noeleen Padayachee has been appointed production manager of the audio visual department that operates in ComutaNet and Campus Media. Padayachee joined the company in 2006 as a scheduler and production assistant.
The former bookkeeper whose drive and determination saw her live her passion by studying film editing and production, says “thrilled to be appointed as production manager” as it will give her “the opportunity to create great work for specific audiences that exceed client expectations and return”.
Karen van Wyk, manager: audio visual and marketing welcomed Noeleen into her new role. “Noeleen’s enthusiasm and fresh perspective is a wonderful addition to our management team and I am certain that with her driving production we will engage with our audience in a defining and meaningful way.”
Dineo Modiba appointed HMC Seswa intern for 2011
Dineo Modiba has been appointed as the new intern account executive at HMC Seswa Corporate Communications.
Dineo is a registered Tshwane University of Technology student currently in her third and final year in Public Relations Management. She has worked in a number of other fields such as retail, brand promotions and also worked as a waitress for three years while she was in high school.
“I’m excited to join the team and begin to collect some life experiences that can only be taught in the corporate realm. I hope HMC Seswa can be the first foot in the door where many opportunities are sure to arise,” says Dineo.

Tuned In Publicity scores PR gig for Michael Bolton, Adeline Mocke
Entertainment public relations agency Tuned In Publicity has gained two new accounts in July.
- 2010 Idols top five finalist, Adeline Mocke, who is also a former FHM model and a guest presenter on Pasella.
- International mega-star Michael Bolton, who will be visiting South Africa in August for a pair of shows at Carnival City in Johannesburg and for promotional purposes around the release of his new CD.

Adeline is set to become one of South Africa’s finest and most successful Afrikaans artists and we are really thrilled to be working alongside her in her career path,” said Tim Hill, co-founder of Tuned In Publicity, who was commissioned by Sony Music to assist with media relations surrounding Bolton’s forthcoming promotional trip for his album Gems. “Working with a legendary artist such as Michael Bolton is a complete honour as he is one of the world’s most respected songwriters and vocalists.”

Cape Town PR consultancy Indigo Zebra Communications has been on a new business drive and acquired four new clients:
- Aegis Media Group (Africa and South Africa)
- ISO Leisure Hotels including Holiday Inn Express
- Posterscope South Africa
- The Centre of Economic Governance for AIDS in Africa (CEEGA)
Indigo Zebra Communications was founded by industry PR veteran Ingrid von Stein and the company has a presence on the ground in Cape Town with associates Johannesburg and other regions.
