Health24, South Africa’s biggest consumer health website, has been awarded the new Antonie Roux award at the Media24 Conference. Antonie Roux, who passed away recently, was the head of MHI and Naspers Internet operations. The award is presented to the website which performs best against a number of commercial criteria.
Health24, a veteran of the online content space, has consistently been a leader in its sector, in both revenue and audience numbers. Founded and still led by Dr Danie Pauw, Health24 has been in existence for over 10 years. “As Health24 we are proud to be associated with Antonie Roux, a true pioneer in the online media in South Africa,” said Dr Pauw.
The site offers world-class information and interactive tools to help users understand health issues and give them the confidence to make informed decisions for a healthy lifestyle.
