One of the highlights of the 2015 Loeries Creative Week Durban is undoubtedly the DStv Seminar of Creativity. The seminar brings together seven global leaders in creativity that will share insights on brand communication trends by interpreting the topic ‘Creativity Adds’ from their own career perspective. The list of speakers include:

Chuck Porter, Partner/Chairman CP+B: Chuck Porter needs no introduction. His iconic agency Crispen Porter & Bogusky is one of the most awarded agencies in the world, with Advertising Age naming it Agency of the Decade.

JJ Lee, CD Facebook Creative Workshop in New York: Having been named one of America’s top 50 most influential designers, JJ Lee has worked at big names like Google, Droga5, and Saatchi & Saatchi.

Chris Clarke, CCO DigitasLBi: Chris Clarke has been a passionate advocate of digital marketing ever since he stumbled into the industry in the late ’90s, working at agencies at the forefront of the digital medium like Abel & Baker, Wheel, Digitas UK, and LBi.

Ali Ali, Film Director: Acclaimed Egyptian director Ali Ali is one of the most awarded directors in the world, with accolades like a D&AD Yellow Pencil for Best Director, a coveted black cube Best of Show at the New York Art Directors Club, and more than six Cannes Lions to his name.

Stan Sthanunathan, SVP Consumer & Market Insights Unilever: In the land of consumer and market insights, Stan Sthanunathan is king. Starting his career in advertising in India, Sthanunathan’s career has taken him to North Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Steve Vranakis, ECD Google Creative Lab: Steve Vranakis’ resume reads like a directory of creative projects rather than a list of work experience. During his current tenure at Google, Vranakis’ projects include the Chrome Web Lab, Jam with Chrome, Google Science Fair, The World Wonders Project and the YouTube Space Lab Channel in partnership with NASA.

The DStv Seminar of Creativity will be held at the Durban ICC on Friday, 14 August. Tickets are available exclusively for the Seminar at R1 320, or as part of a Creative Week™ package.

Durban will be hosting the Loeries from the 10 – 16 August. Official events will take place at the Durban ICC and along the Durban beachfront during Loeries® Creative Week™. See the following link of a detailed program https://www.loeries.com/loeries2015.aspx?link=festival_programme
