CapeTalk is bringing women aged 40 and above together for The Reinvention Stage, an intimate brunch and panel discussion focused on health, wealth, play and new possibilities.
Hosted by Saskia Falken, the event takes place on Friday 18 September 2026 at the Twelve Apostles Hotel in Camps Bay, Cape Town.
The event aims to challenge conventional perceptions of midlife through conversations around financial independence, hormonal health, creativity, adventure and personal fulfilment.
The panel features former Miss South Africa 1992, entrepreneur and philanthropist Amy Kleinhans, and hormonal health specialist Dr Simone Silver. Falken will moderate the discussion.
The programme is structured around three core themes: wealth, exploring financial confidence, investment and planning for greater autonomy; play, examining creativity, adventure and meaningful connection; and possibility, focusing on new aspirations and opportunities in midlife.
Tessa van Staden, station manager at CapeTalk, says the event reflects the station’s focus on conversations that resonate with its audience.
“CapeTalk has always been a trusted platform for unfiltered, resonant conversations that reflect the lives and ambitions of our audience. This event transcends the ordinary by delivering edifying dialogue in a glorious setting at the beautiful Twelve Apostles. We are honoured to champion a space where women can reframe midlife with agency and joy,” she says.
The event combines the panel discussion with a bespoke brunch at the Twelve Apostles, positioning the gathering as both a conversation about midlife and an opportunity for connection.
