CYBERTORIAL: Not known for its sport coverage, even SABC3 will also be screening African Cup of Nations during the much-anticipated tournament. SABC3 will carry four matches only, and these will flight from 18h30 to 20h30 on four consecutive days: Sunday 27 January 2013 to Wednesday, 30 January 2013.
Look out for Cape Verde Island vs Angola on 27 January; Democratic Republic of Congo vs Mali on 28 January; Ethiopia vs Nigeria on 29 January and finally, Togo vs Tunisia on 30 January.
Normal programming will continue on unaffected days.
But of course, this means one of South Africa’s favourtie dramas will be affected, Monday to Wednesday. Isidingo is moving from 18h30 to 19h30 on SABC3 from 1 January 2013 and on Afcon days – the 28th, 29th and 30th – it will be broadcast at a later time, at 21h30.
