Dimitri Martinis is a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand and holds an MA in Development Sociology and BA (Hons.) degree in Media and Cultural Studies. He has served as researcher for the Digital Broadcasting Advisory Body (DBAB), established by the Department of Communications to advise the Minister of Communications on policy and the implementation of digital broadcasting in South Africa. He is an external examiner for the WITS Graduate School of Humanities and guest lecturer and assessor for AFDA.
