The annual APEX Awards is open for entry for the 2014 season. Brand barons and marketing moguls are called upon to enter their best communications campaigns that worked and worked hard to deliver a tangible, measured return on investment and/or objectives.
“We are not just calling for work. We are calling for ideas that ignited intrigue in the minds of consumers and led to desire in their hearts. We’re looking for ideas that widened eyes and opened wallets even wider. We’re calling for ideas that directly contributed to the client’s bottom line. We want the work that worked.” said APEX jury chairperson, Andy Rice.
The annual APEX Awards is hosted by the Association for Communication and Advertising (ACA) which is the recognised industry body of the advertising and communications sector of South Africa. APEX recognises and celebrates communications campaigns’ performance excellence by contributing tangibly client’s business and bottom line. Entry into the prestigious APEX Awards is exclusive to agencies that are members the ACA and their clients.
Odette van der Haar (Roper) CEO of ACA explains: “An APEX represents a demonstration of both strategic and creative effectiveness and showcases award winners as being leaders in their field. An APEX symbolises the achievement of a communications campaign’s performance excellence in an industry that is constantly refining and redefining creativity.”
Compulsory briefing sessions for entrants will be held in Johannesburg and Cape Town on the 21 January and 23 January 2014. There is no cost to attend however seats are limited and booking via email to email@example.com is required.
