Firdous is the Deputy MD at Saatchi & Saatchi, an Agency within the Publicis Groupe. With 18 years in the industry, she spent 14years of her career at Ogilvy South Africa where she was responsible for an array of Clients across multiple sectors both locally and globally. She headed up Ogilvy Change, the Behaviourial Economics division in Ogilvy SA and served as Managing Partner. Prior to this, she was the founder of her own ad agency and ran it for about 5 years.
Her work experience spans across multi-cultural brands and categories globally, regionally and locally, in both the private and public sectors. She focused largely on digital transformation and integration into modern marketing over the last 9 years. With a strong interpersonal and communication skills coupled with a sound business and entrepreneurial mind, she has a real passion for the advertising industry and people.
Since inception, the ad industry has thrived on late nights, high stress, and big rewards.
