Helen Ueckermann is Chairperson of the Southern African Freelancers Association (Safrea) and works as an independent journalist, media liaison consultant, language practitioner and broadcaster. Helen specialises in basic personal finance and writes columns on this subject for several publications, including customer magazines in the Foschini Group, Public Sector Manager Magazine, and Labour Dynamix, and she presents Rand en Sent - a radio programme on personal finance - on Radiosondergrense (RSG) Sunday afternoons at 15h30. In addition she has a few select media liaison clients, loves travel and travel writing, and in between all that spends hours translating and editing academic material as a member of the Unisa Language Services’ Outside Panel.
