Sean Donnelly

Sean Donnelly's chief roles at Gloo include driving conversations with clients, as well as engineering ways for Gloo to grow in size while retaining its vibrant and creative culture. He joined Gloo from MEC Carat – the RECMA number one rated agency in South Africa for 2012 – where he was managing director for Johannesburg.
Sean brings to Gloo a passion for digital marketing and advertising and extensive experience in building high performance teams, delivering world class products and services, and solving business problems. He has proven skills in developing and delivering strategic plans, building enduring client relationships, and running efficient operations.

Sean has 15 years’ experience in ICT and digital marketing, advertising, and media. During this time, he has managed the delivery of numerous high value projects and programmes in the banking, government, telecoms and retail sectors. Brands he has worked on include MTN, Nokia, Brandhouse (Captain Morgan), Nedbank, Southern Sun, Coca-Cola and DionWired.
Among Sean's awards and achievements are a Bookmarks People's Choice Award for the Nokia myn97homescreen campaign, an MTN Marketing Award, and a Nedbank Product Innovation Award. Sean has a BA from the University of Port Elizabeth and a masters degree in planning from the University of Natal.
