From the start of the evening, when guests swept down a red carpet to be greeted with a red cocktail garnished with blueberries, to the awards venue inside the Nu-Metro cinema at Montecasino, where a giant box of popcorn and a ice cold Savannah kept hunger pangs at bay while the awards were dished out to worthy winners, it was a night worth remembering. The MOST Awards of 2011 had the most entries ever, and clearly this event that honours the work done by media owners and media agencies, often the unsung heroes of the media world, is here to stay.
Continental Outdoor Media were the winners in the Out of Home category.
The MOST Media Agency Innovator is Ryan Williams, MD of Nota Bene.
MOST Media Owner Sales & Marketing Innovator Award 2011, Jaques de Preez of ProVantage.
Radmark took top honours in the radio category.
The winner of the specialist agency category in 2011 was Page Three Media, based in Cape Town, proving that dynamite comes in small packages.
In the strongly competitive newspaper category, Ads24 was the winner.
