Anthea Garman

Anthea Garman was a journalist for 16 years before becoming an academic at Rhodes. She teaches journalism practice in the undergraduate degrees (this includes a course in long form journalism). She runs a postgraduate research group focusing on media and citizenship in South Africa. She is the editor of the Rhodes Journalism Review. Garman is the convenor of the National Arts Festival public lectures called Think!Fest.
