Serving as Djembe’s International Director, Kevin Nolan has upwards of 15 years of international communications experience with concentration on government and public affairs, and both strategic and corporate communications. Prior to joining Djembe, Nolan worked for over a decade throughout the Middle East and North Africa for the US government and as a communications advisor with experience in consulting for governments of Iraq, Palestine, Qatar, and Morocco. He also has in-­-depth experience working with NGOs and civil society organisations.

In previous roles Nolan has served as a Vice President for Grayling and as the Senior Manager of Communications at a tech company in Washington, D.C.
Nolan is has an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Music from the University of California at San Diego. Additionally, he holds a master's degree in International Relations with a focus on political and economic development in the Middle East and North Africa from the American University in Cairo, Egypt.
