[PRESS OFFICE] MIMS, the medical publishing division of Arena (Pty) Ltd, is looking for a highly motivated freelance sales executive with a proven track record in sales to sell advertising, sponsorships and subscriptions.
MIMS is South Africa’s most authoritative publisher of medical reference books and products in both print and digital format.
The successful candidate will canvass new business from health- and life-insurance companies, hospital groups, clinics, software vendors, financial institutions and select veterinary companies. Requirements are proven sales experience and skills – preferably in a publishing environment, computer literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint), a driver’s licence and – since the candidate will work remotely – a computer and full wifi connectivity.
The candidate should be a clear and persuasive communicator, deadline-driven, able to structure innovative sales packages, highly professional and should possess excellent people and organisational skills.
Remuneration will consist of a monthly retainer plus commission.
