Zanele Potelwa started out being a mentee at 5FM in January 2016, where she was doing anything and everything she could do - from filing old paperwork to making coffee and helping at events - when she wasn’t at varsity.

After 2 years, she left for a year in 2018 and returned in April 2019, doing overnights 1-4 a.m., Monday to Friday. She moved onto doing traffic on the Roger Goode Show in 2020 and after a year, she was entrusted with the lunchtime slot in April 2021.

She’s had the honour of becoming an SABC 1 TV Presenter and face, appearing in TV ads, hosting red carpet events and awards shows and working with awesome brands to create some cool content.
