January 10, 2013, is the cut-off date for nominations in The Media magazine’s third edition of the 40 most influential people, under the age of 40, in the South African media industry. Nominations need to be detailed (no “go to Google”!) and those not received by the cut-off date will unfortunately not be considered.
Every year the results of The Media’s quest are eagerly awaited, and at times hotly-contested, as making the list is seen as being quite a coup. So proposers are advised to include their full name and details, the full name, age and designation of the nominee and an explanation of why he or she is an eligible candidate.
Young media moguls who made the cut last year may be nominated again, if they have done something phenomenal in the last 12 months. And you may even nominate yourself, if you’ve got what it takes!
