eNCA’s current affairs programme, The Justice Factor, launches on e.tv on Monday. The hard-hitting show, hosted by Justice Malala, has up until now only been available on DStv. Four years after it was launched on eNCA, The Justice Factor has become one of South Africa’s most popular and sometimes controversial current affairs programmes.
Host Justice Malala is one of South Africa’s most respected political commentators and newspaper columnists. He is often described as a brave, even-handed critic, and an astute analyst of South Africa’s political landscape. Malala interviews the movers and shakers of South African politics and has established a reputation for asking tough questions.
Guests on The Justice Factor have included Cosatu leader Zwelinzima Vavi, IFP leader Mangosuthu Buthelezi, DA leader Helen Zille, COPE leader Mosiuoa Lekota, SACP leader Blade Nzimande, ANC secretary-general Gwede Mantashe and many others. In these iconic interviews, the Justice Factor makes politics fun, accessible, snappy and relevant.
The show has three segments. In the first segment it reviews the week past and throw forward to what will make news in the week ahead. The second segment features a leading politician who is in the news or a dissection of a hot political topic. In this segment, political leaders are interviewed. Issues are tackled such as the education crisis, xenophobia and others. Finally, politicians are brought to account in the third segment in which The Justice Factor names and shames politicians who have let the public down and congratulates those who do a great job.
The justice Factor moves from Sundays to Mondays at 8:30pm.The repeats on eNCA are Mondays at 11:30Ppm and Tuesdays at 9:30am, 3:30pm and 10:30pm. It kicks off its e.tv launch at at 8.30pm on Monday, 8 July.
