The Loeries Official Rankings, first published in 2010, offer a transparent oversight of the awards as well as promote creativity and innovation as primary business tools in the brand communication industry. FCB Joburg heads the Overall Ranking By Agency table while client, Coca-Cola South Africa, tops the Overall Ranking By Brand table. FCB Joburg executive creative director, Jonathan Deeb is at the top of the Executive Creative Director table while FCB South Africa group CEO and chief creative officer, Brett Morris, takes second place on the chief creative officer list.
The Loeries Official Rankings list the top brands as well as the top agencies, specialist focus areas and individual performance in key areas. It won no less than 10 Loeries: six for Coca-Cola South Africa (for whom it took one of just four Grand Prix awards made over the weekend for its inspirational #RainbowNation activation during Freedom Month), two for Toyota Genuine Parts, and one each for Lexus and Labello.
And this year for the first time, a ranking for brand representative was provided, recognising the integral role that brands play in the creating of award-winning communications. Deeb’s client, Sharon Keith from Coca-Cola South Africa, takes the number one spot here.
