Suitably qualified research companies interested in tendering for the development and implementation of an establishment survey (ES) have been briefed and invited to submit request for information (RFI) submissions by 4 May. Those who make the shortlist will progress to the request for proposal stage. Candidates will be announced on 18 May.
The South African Media and Marketing industry, represented by the Advertising Media Forum (AMF), the Broadcast Research Council of South Africa (BRC), the Marketing Association of South Africa (MASA), the Print and Digital Media South Africa (PDMSA) and the South African Audience Research Foundation (SAARF), are running the process. Yardstick has been appointed to ensure a fair, credible and effective process.
Shortlisted companies will be briefed on the 8 June 2015 and will be required to make written submission and pricing proposals by 16 July 2015. Presentation of proposals will take place during August 2015, whereafter the successful bidder will be selected. It will be a five-year contract with an option to renew for a further two years.
