CYBERTORIAL*: Our media industry has extraordinary talent and amazing leaders, deserving of recognition. The MOST Awards recognises individuals through presenting awards to Media Owner and Media Agency Rising Stars and Legends each year.
How it works
You get to anonymously nominate media professionals who are worthy of this accolade through the online MOST Awards survey.
You may vote for anyone in the media industry including people who work for your company. The only people excluded from nomination are those who have won the award previously.
The full-list of nominees is then presented to an expert panel of former winners who have their fingers on the industry’s pulse. These judges carefully discuss each candidate, before voting on the final winners. The judges reserve the right not to present an award.
Who are the Rising Stars?
To qualify to be a either a Media Agency or Media Owner Rising Star the candidate must be 39 or younger.
Nominate the person who has consistently displayed the following characteristics for the Media Agency Rising Star Award: excellent relationship skills, open minded, innovative, confident, challenges the status quo, outspoken, decisive, takes the lead, involved in the industry and developing a profile. Is someone to watch.
Previous Media Agency Rising Stars: Chris Botha, Ryan Williams, Tanya Schreuder, Wayne Bishop and Illan Lazarus.
Nominate the person who has consistently displayed the following characteristics for the Media Owner Rising Star Award: excellent sales skills, open minded, innovative, confident, challenges the status quo, outspoken, decisive, takes the lead, involved in the industry and developing a profile. Is someone to watch.

What makes a Legend?
To qualify to be either a Media Agency or Media Owner Legend the candidate has to be over 40 and a consistent performer with a strong reputation for transparency.
Nominate the people you believe have consistently displayed the following characteristics for both the Media Agency Legend and Media Owner Legend Awards: leadership, passion, commitment, mentorship, inspiration, relationship builder, brilliant negotiator, consistency, wisdom, involvement internally and within the media sector, sets the bar for future leaders.
Previous Media Agency Legends: Gordon Patterson, Virginia Hollis, Gordon Muller, Michelle Meyjes, Harry Herber and Rob Smuts.
Previous Media Owner Legends: Ken Varejes, Trevor Ormerod, Peter MacKenzie, Linda Gibson, Gill Randall, Adelaide Mc Kelvey and Chris Hitchings.
