SA Creatives has just launched its new job portal, SA Creative Jobs, which is made specifically for creatives in Southern Africa. The SAC team approached the job portal space in a unique way by utilising influencers. Founder and publisher Artwell Nwaila says that they have partnered with influencers from several creative sectors, who form the Broadcast Team. “Each time we post a job we will identify influencers within our pool, who may have followers who fit the job post profile. The influencers then tweets or Facebook the job post,” he says.
The Broadcast Team consists of a variety of influential partners, like a radio station, an online radio station, bloggers and general industry thought leaders. It allows the portal to have a targeted approach to posting jobs and dramatically increases the portals overall reach. SA Creatives aims to constantly add to the broadcast team of influencers as it grows.
It all started in 2011 when SA Creatives launched a website dedicated to the growth of SA creativity. The publication grew to be one of South Africa’s biggest creative platforms, winning award after award in the process. Through the website they have helped creatives find jobs, freelance work and gain much needed exposure. Propelled by the increasing requests to help corporates find talent and creatives find jobs, they have launched SA Creative Jobs.
SA Creative invites creatives to upload their CV’s and find jobs in their creative field, they also encourage recruiters to try the Broadcast system for best results. Visit Jobs@sacreatives.co.za or www.sacreativenetwork.co.za for more info.
