Men’s Health has launched its official cover guy search this week. The popular men’s mag is looking for a man with a ‘larger than life personality’ and a body to match, plus oodles of confidence and striking good looks.
“The search for the next Cover Guy will reflect the positive get-up-and-go attitude that Men’s Health promotes and lives by. We encourage members of the public to either enter or go online and vote for their favourite contestant. You never know it could be you, your mate, your boyfriend or son on our cover,” says editor, Jason Brown.
The first phase of the competition, which is presented by Toyota, will be conducted online on a specially created website: www.mh.co.za/coverguy <https://www.mh.co.za/coverguy> .
Entrants are able to sign up, upload photos and personal details, and readers can then vote for their favourites. Site visitors will be able to link to Facebook “like” and post to Twitter to drum up more support for their preferred entrant. The Top 10 entrants will be updated daily, according to votes.
The 10 finalists will be invited to a cover shoot, and the winner chosen by an expert panel of Men’s Health judges. The panel includes the editor, Jason Brown, creative director Rob Cilliers, and representatives from both Toyota and a modelling agency specialist.
Head to www.mh.co.za/coverguy <https://www.mh.co.za/coverguy> before the 15th of September and to enter or vote for your favourite contestant.
