The Golden Lions’ tour bus has been given a new image, adding impact the start of the team’s rugby season. Vehicle branding and transit media experts Graffiti emblazoned the Hyundai Universe in the bold red Lions colours and gave it a sporting look by adding the team logo.
“Our vehicle sponsor, Sprinkbok Atlas, approached us with the idea of giving the team bus an updated look as the original branding was looking a bit worse for wear,” says Krystle Geach, PR and media manager for the Golden Lions Rugby Union. “Graffiti, together with our agency MCD, came up with an eye-catching new design and the result is a vehicle that really grabs people’s attention and generates excitement wherever it goes.”
Graffiti Director Gavin Schlaphoff adds, “The Golden Lions Bus needed a bit of refreshing when it came to the branding as the previous vinyl had faded substantially. The new look is bright, bold and in keeping with the strength and energy associated with the team. And with our high-quality vinyl, the team is likely to play through multiple seasons and numerous team changes before their vehicle will be in need of rebranding!”
