One normally hears of a flash mob with dancers… but how about one with an orchestra? The Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra popped up at the Bryanston organic market on Saturday to give all those who were there a LEKKER classical surprise! A large crowd quickly gathered. Check it out right here, right now!
This is part of Jacaranda FM’s Lekker To Be Here campaign – where we find out more about all the things that you find lekker to do, where you find lekker to go etc. and doing our bit to get there, be with you and make it even more LEKKER!

It was #LTBH with surprise performances by Arno Carstens at the Rosebank Rooftop Market, with Elvis Blue at the Irene Village Market, with Dozi at the Pretoria Boeremark, Karen Zoid at Jozi Food Market and Jak de Priester at the Voortrekker Monument.
It was #LTBH when listeners, who shared their thoughts on what is “lekker” with Jacaranda FM, got to see their message up in lights next to major highways.
It was #LTBH when The Complimentary Breakfast host, Rian van Heerden, paid for people’s groceries in Faerie Glen. #LTBH when The Tonight Show host, Julio Garcia, did the same at Rosebank Pick ‘n Pay. And it was VERY #LTBH when Martin Bester, host of the Martin Bester Drive, walked into the Randburg traffic department and paid R5 000 worth of fines on behalf of those in the queue!
Rumour has it that there are many more LEKKER surprises on the way, so make sure you stay tuned to Jacaranda FM, stay logged in on www.jacarandafm.com and tag #LTBH in all the lekker things you get up to!
